1980 Lamborghini Countach LP 400S (series 2) chassis number 1121176. The Countach is truly a very stunning and iconic automobile. A car that was produced from 1974 through 1990. The Countach model defines what Lamborghini is about. Some general history of this model. The Countach LP400S was introduced in 1978 as the second evolution of the Countach design. The LP400S received additional body panels/flairs, a rear wing, wider wheels, and other features that were revised from the original first generation LP400 design. Production numbers for the LP 400S series 2 show only 237 examples produced with three distinct series within the model. The series 2, which is the vehicle offered here, retained the styling of low body of the series 1, yet received a revised style of wheels. Only 105 series 2 where produced.

PERFORMANCE: Power comes from Lamborghinis legendary V-12, with a factory claimed 353 Bhp at 7500 rpm. The motor in this car runs strong. The 5 speed manual transmission shift well. A great performer on the road. This car has received a performance upgrade with a modern style electric fuel injection, and electric ignition. These changes allowed the car to be more reliable. The original weber carbureted fuel system and factory distributor can easily be re-installed to go back to the original factory setup.

EXTERIOR: The paint and body is striking and in great condition. The vehicle received a complete repainted in the early 1990s in a beautiful rich Black Cherry Pearl, original color was the standard red. The paint retains a great finish, depth and luster. Some minor imperfection, from road use and age. Glass is in great condition.

INTERIOR: Very clean and nice interior. Nice clean gauges, working. The interior was originally a white, but was reconditioned in the early 1990s to a nice blend of custom materials and original styling. Quality of the craftsman is very good.

OVERALL: This Countach LP 400S has 51,600 KM (32,032 miles). The car has been loved and driven by the same owner for the past 22 years.
