Understanding Porsche VIN coding

This section is for Porsche vehicle identification numbers VIN decoding. Numbers that Porsche has used since their beginning. Early years of Porsche, the numbers only showed the sequence of the cars coming off the production line. Years later the chassis numbering system became more enhanced with more info to each specific model/car.
