Road trip Dining: Cleveland-Heath in Edwardsville, IL.

We stopped in Edwardsville, Illinois to see about purchasing this Lamborghini Jalpa. While we were there, we met up with a guy who owned a really nice Porsche 944 we wanted to look at. Turns out, he owned a very good restaurant.

Cleveland-Heath offers "Gourmet Comfort (food)."

We found this to definitely be true. I had a Cleveland-Heath Double Burger. It had 2, 1/4 pound Rensing's grass-fed patties and a brioche bun.

Victor, who comes with me on these scouting trips, had the Gringo Tacos, also excellent.

The atmosphere had a very Southern, community/gathering place feel, and Edwardsville, Illinois was a great town with a great restaurant to boot.

We know where to stop next time we're heading through Illinois.
