This classic 1964 Volkswagen Beetle is in great condition. A solid chassis that received a very nice full exterior repaint in the original Fontana Grey 0909 in 2020. Interior in black with renewed vinyl seats and carpet. The engine is believed to be a 1.6L (1,600cc), and appears to be an older rebuild. Four-speed manual transaxle that shifts well.
Exterior details, include chrome bumpers with overriders as well as dual mirrors, chrome stone guards, front vent windows, and dual chrome “pea-shooter” exhaust outlets. Black 15″ steel wheels wear chrome VW-branded hubcaps and rings, mounted with Nexen tires (date code 2020). Equipment chrome bumpers and overriders, dual side mirrors. Most of the chrome items are in very good condition, with some showing age. Additional close-up images detailing lighting, badging, and trim are provided in the gallery below. Four-wheel drum brakes.
Clean interior with original paint dash. White steering wheel, low-back front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black basket weave vinyl, black vinyl door panels and replacement carpets. Hand-crank side windows, pop-out wing windows, lap belts, black rubber floor mats, a glove compartment, a passenger-side grab handle.
Underside is solid and clean. Battery panel has been replaced. Newer shocks. For the vehicles age this Beetle is in great condition. A fun classic.
