This 1987 911 Carrera Targa is in great condition. A beautiful color combo: Dark Blue over tan leather. Powered by the stock 3.2-liter air-cooled EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) flat-6, rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Power output is sent through Porsche’s G50 5-speed manual transmission. The G50 5-speed was introduced in 1987 as an improved shift action and stronger gearbox over the previous transmission. Brakes are stock rebuilt calipers and new pads. Suspension is stock setup with new shocks.
The car received an extensive partial restoration with a new exterior repaint and interior in 2021-22. A full exterior repaint/restoration in the factory color Dark Blue. The interior was also revived with new blue carpet and tan leather seats. Reconditioned targa top and new Targa top body seals. Mechanically, the car received new brakes, shocks, A/C hoses and components, new fuel hoses, and new oil hose lines.
EXTERIOR
Beautiful Dark Blue paint. A complete exterior repaint with new body seals, and rubber trim. Glass in very good condition. Glass out during repaint with new seals. Fuchs wheels are in good condition with only minor marks. Low miles on Hankook tires (date code 19 / 20).
INTERIOR
Very good looking interior with new tan leather seats (front and rear). New dark blue carpet. New Porsche Sport steering wheel. Working A/C. A very clean interior.
